I did a quick search & the reviews on this were mixed. Most of the editor's reviews on this were that it's a pretty decent tablet, however I saw a few user reviews that weren't very good. So, there certainly is a bit of a risk, but you do get a warranty from Asus on this unit.

I don't think you will find another tablet netbook for this price though, so it's worth looking at if you're in the market for one.
