Free Space Needle Admission

UPDATE: I called & here's the scoop: You go, get a ticket, & have to come back at an assigned time. They said it could be 9-10 hrs later (assuming you go first thing). So....while it's free, it might be a bit of a hassle. Be prepared to leave & come back, or make a day out of it & explore downtown.

Friday, August 13th, you can head to the top of the Space Needle without paying a dime! Bausch & Lomb are hosting this event & I think it's a great freebie!

There are some reports that this is only for the first 10,000 people, however I've read other reports that don't mention a limit, so beware that you may or may not get a free ticket depending on when you go. The observation deck is open 9 am - 12 am.
