ReplyDeleteThanks for this tip! The price per ounce is a little higher than Costco, but I love this size because I always seem to throw a lot out when I buy the 32oz cartons.
ReplyDeleteErin, that's a good point. I've often tossed half used 32 oz. containers out (I should just freeze the broth & use it later, but well....I don't. LOL!).
ReplyDeleteFreeze the extra broth in ice cube trays like I do -- then defrost only what you will use!
ReplyDeleteJust remember to label the bags so you don't end up with mystery juice. I did that once with enchilada sauce -- sure made for some weird tasting spaghetti sauce :(
Jo....ROFL! I'll have to remember that. :) I did make my daughter all of her baby food & froze them in ice cube trays. It worked great.
