Artsy Fartsy Miranda = Art for Charity

I'm sure the title above caught your attention! If it did, I'm glad, because I want to introduce you to an amazing little girl on a mission.

Artsy Fartsy Miranda is a great website you should check out. Miranda is a little girl who lives in Eastern Washington & she loves art. Let me tell you guys....she's good. Not "oh yeah, kids who color are cute" kind of good. This kid is good. Like, it's somewhat baffling how good this kid is, considering she's in the third grade & has only been painting for a year.

Miranda has decided to start selling her artwork for $5 per piece. Here's where this kid impresses me more: She is donating 50% of all of her sales to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery in Spokane, WA (the other 50% goes to supplies & shipping; gotta break even, folks!). Not only is Miranda super talented, she's super generous, too!

Go take a look at Artsy Fartsy Miranda & see if there are any pieces you like. I would totally hang any of her Hawaiian prints in my house. I mean, who doesn't want to dream of Hawaii? You should also go "like" her page on Facebook & give her a shout out on her wall.

Miranda, thanks for helping the kids of Spokane & keep painting. You're one amazing girl!
(I should disclose that I've known Miranda's mother since I was a kid. However, I did not receive any compensation for this posting & all opinions are my own. I simply wanted to share what I think is a great cause!)

  1. Just want to mention that the other 50% goes to postage to mail them out and paint supplies. None of the $5 will go directly into her pocket. :)
